Even better than the first. So many twists and turns but in the end every piece of the puzzle fit perfectly. I love Bardugo’s characters - flawed but every one acting true to themselves.

This was my most anticipated release of the year and it did not disappoint. It was everything I loved about the first and more, and it kept my attention like very few books can anymore. Currently trying to be patient, but I am ITCHING for the next book!

I love the feeling of anticipation when starting a book I know I’ll enjoy, and the wait was worth it. Bardugo expands the world she created in Ninth House and the characters, especially Alex, develop naturally in response to Darlington’s absence. Reading about Alex’s time at Yale drummed up such an ache for the learning that I missed from my time at university, and Hell Bent’s magic was just as perverse and compelling as before.

I loved this sequel and cannot wait to see where this goes from here. All of the characters are extremely loveable. Last 25 percent of book was fantastic. I did feel like the explanation of the Mercedes was a bit weak, but other than that a perfect follow up to ninth house ❤️
