I really enjoyed this book. I just really like Bardugo’s writing. It’s no Six of Crows, but I appreciate it for what it is and I liked Hell Bent way more than Ninth House! This makes me want to go back and reread Ninth House, but I feel like overall i understood this story much more even with all its complexity (maybe it’s because there was less involvement of the different societies throughout the story). Either way, I feel like I understand and enjoyed the characters much more in this story. Plus, the draw of the paranormal mystery is just perfect throughout the book!

this book will probably only come out after kos2 (which I’m also incredibly excited for) but that’s only coming out late this year or next year so... I’m gonna have to wait a while aren’t I
