The author was milking the story, this book felt so much like a filler. The story could have been wrapped up in 2 books. So I DNF’ed after 41%, I was fighting to get through it and that would’ve put me in a slump for sure.

I enjoyed this final book on the series and felt that all the various threads of the plot were well wrapped up in the end. I did though find some things slow and there was unnecessary detail for parts of the climactic moments. A more adult book than the previous two for sure, too, in terms of language and sexual content.

Mainly because I just don’t know how to feel about this series! I enjoyed the first, got a little bored with the second and the third was just an overload of information and events.
I liked it, but I didn’t loved. It was a sweet ending to the series though
