I'm wobbling between 4.5 and 5 stars...

I just put this book down moments ago, gasping for air, so I may be in an unfit condition for writing a review, but I'm going to do it anyway. This series, and Miss Pennington's prowess as an author, keeps getting better. It's a great thing to watch (or read, as the case may be).

In this book, Andi's sympathies from the previous book are dragged into another adventure. When the Surveyor picks up some extra passengers, the get more than they bargained for. The trouble is, the heroes and villains seem as entangled and undecipherable as the motives and goals. As the line between right and wrong seems to blur, Andi struggles to discover the truth before more people get hurt.

This story leaves the humanistic tendencies of science fiction no where to be seen and quite un-missed. The Christian worldviews and morals of the author and her characters weave into the story without ever becoming preachy. I definitely recommend this story, even to readers who don't think they like sci-fi.

DISCLOSURE: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
