Reminded me way too much of a friend in high school with a big juicy purse who was, I now realize, like Alex was scrambling to survive by using and jumping from person to person for rides, places to sleep, unreciprocated favors, and broken promises. It’s like parasite, pretty woman, the summer I turned pretty, and gone girl went to the Hamptons and I still don’t know how I want to interpret the ending

Great build up and tension but the ending could have been had more clarity, I get it - but come on, don't be lazy. 3/5 for this. I recommend.

No strong feeling for or against this book. It was an easy read, the main character was extremely unlikable, the plot was anxiety-inducing! Read it if you enjoy those things!
