Believe It or Knot: Part One by Harper Wylde

Soft(ish) DNF. The plot/setup has potential, but the FMC doesn’t feel like she has much personality (to me) beyond Omega instincts, trauma, and a dash of not like other girls. I don’t know if I’d go so far as to say it’s plot driven, more that the characters just don’t show much besides what’s required to support the plot.

## Tropes
-Why choose
-Omegaverse
-Found family

## 📖 My Thoughts
I was hooked onto the FMCs story from the start, she was in a horrible situation and needed an out. I like how she met some of the MMCs, it was unusual and kept me interested. I liked how the MMCs slowly found out more about her past life. Some of the MMCs felt a bit 2D to me, considering the length of the story, I would have liked to get to know them more. I felt the ending coming and was disappointed it came before I knew the characters more.

## ⚠️ Triggers
- Rape
- Panic attacks/disorders
- Domestic abuse
- Sexual assault
- Violence
- Death of parent
- Body shaming
- Confinement

## 🌶️ Spice
Spice happened early due to heat. Spice was written well but I was expecting maybe a bit more filth considering it was why choose. Big emphasis on consent

Def enjoyed. Beginning setup meeting her guys felt very similar to another book where the guys had a restaurant and bar, gym, and ran into them by a dumpster. But past that, it developed into its own.

Ready to start part 2 asap

Bs censorship. Just say killed instead of unalived. You're already talking about domestic violence and sexual assault.

Never would have expected such a good story from the cover and title. Almost didn’t read it due to that tackiness. But this story has a great plot and is really well written with tons of spice. Couldn’t put it down. Can’t wait to read part 2.
