Henley is emotionally unavailable due to past traumas and cannot commit to a relationship thinking he can’t possibly love and loose someone. Little does he know he meets blonde bombshell Juliette, they have a one night stand and he can see there’s something there, scared of having feelings Henley ghosts her. 3 years later she unknowingly moves in next door to Henley only to have a fued due to clear feeling that he in not interested in exploring. Slowly but surely due to his dying father Henley realises how important it is to finally love someone. It’s better to have loved and lost than not loved at all. 

Beautiful story but cannot get over the word “creamy” being used. Also he was a bit on a knob for a lot of the story.
