Henley and Juliet. Wow such a beautiful story. I know some will disagree about Henley, as he is intense, but my heart bled for him from the beginning. Henley is the alpha male, always in control, and you just feel he’s hiding apart of himself. Therefore, it will take a lot for him to fall, and when he does, he will fall hard.
Juliet is the beautiful soul and the light that someone like Henley needs…and deserves. The ups, the downs, the heartache, the growth, the love..all of it was beautiful. I cannot wait to see if we get the story of the friends later on. Great read. Highly recommend!

First of all thank you to TL and her team for the ARC. This book was a roller coaster of emotions. I laughed, yelled, gasped, and cried.
This story is about Juliet, a lovely patient woman who falls head over heels for this hot man she met one night. They have a great time and then he doesn’t call her back.
Fast forward three years and she’s moving into a new home starting a new life. And who’s her new neighbor? None other than Henley James.
He’s got a lot of baggage. And there were so many times I wanted to bury him myself. But under all that trauma, he’s got a great heart.
I loved this book and if you love grumpy alpha controlling men, neighbors, enemies to lovers, then this is for you.
Just a warning; the mc deals with loss and grief. Take care of yourself while reading.

T. L. Swan is heavily recommended on Instagram and I can’t say that I’ll be reading another title by her. I am not a fan of overly dramatic couples with poor communication. I also want my fictional men to treat women with respect, whether they are talking about them behind closed doors or interacting with them face to face. This just wasn’t for me.
