My Temptation

T.L. Swan

3.59 AVERAGE

I have mixed feelings about this.
I wanted to love it because it's T.L but this definitely fell short for me.
I love me a broody man who is cruel to everyone but his woman and even maybe just a bit to his woman (LOL) but Henley was just plain MEAN.

Henley and Juliet meet and have an incredible night together but things happen and they never see each other again.  THREE years later they find themselves living next to each other and naturally things progress again between them.
Henley has PTSD from an event in his life which leads to him not being able to open up fully.
Juliet went through TOO MUCH to get this man and I woulda peaced out at low blow #2 from this him.
But anyway, she sticks it out and eventually breaks him but by that time, so many unnecessary things happened that I was unfortunately lost. Boo-hoo!
But I am happy that Henley was finally able to open up to her give her what she deserved after over 3 three years by this point!

This book was unexpected, just because I wasn’t planning on reading it, and once I did I surprisingly enjoyed it.
It was definitely something I wouldn’t have picked up on a my own accord, but since it was an audio book, I needed something to listen to.
The family aspect of this book was so cute, and even if they argued a lot of the time, Juliet and Henley were so cute as a couple. Yes, they disagreed throughout the whole book but it was the type of banter that was endearing and in my opinion made the story a little more bearable. At some parts, it was boring and felt like it was repeating stuff at times but overall I think this was a good book, it just didn’t stand out all that much.

I laughed. I cried. I was BULLIED by my buddy reading friends for crying. Henley Henley Henley. What a beautiful damaged man. I felt also somewhat like I was reading autobiography. I elate to poor wittle Henley so much it was uncanny. I loved his growth so much but let’s be real. Barry was the real star of this book as were the creamy babies. I will not be taking questions. Thank yew.
