Would have given 4 stars if the happy ending wasn't based 'happy hetero couple = marriage and a baby' but I'm not bitter enough to say its less than 3.75 because I knew what I was getting myself in for and gobbled it up.

i can NEVER be disappointed by t.l. swan when it comes to her books, especially this! i was tempted (no pun intended) to read this book because of the trailer. it was soooo good and as i got to read the book itself, i just couldn't put it down. i loved how it takes place in one lovely neighborhood and told a bit of the story of each resident. i loved the friendship between Juliet, Chloe, and Rebecca. how they were always there for each other and helped each other going through something or doing each other a favor. Henley was soooo hot. I was head over heels for him. He was so possessive of Juliet and I could not stop swooning. Their banter and tension were electrifying!

So cringe and the fmc is ridiculously desperate.
First off I want to say that this book annoyed the hell out of me. Henley was a hot mess and despite him being a sex god he wasn’t giving much for most of the book. Can you say red flag? Secondly, this book is unnecessarily long (over 450 pages for a rom com is too much imo). 75% or more of this book is the FMC and the MMC pushing each other away and it’s super frustrating. I’m torn between 3 and 4 stars but settled on 4 because I did finish this rather quickly and the sexy scenes were hot AF. Might change my mind later 😂

Another great book from TL Swann. I love the characters, and friendships. This book literally had me laughing out loud so many times. It was so much fun.
My only complaint is that it is a little bit too long for what it offered but I still enjoyed reading it.
