T L Swan does it again! I do not know what she puts in her books but they are so addictive and easy to read that I always find myself flying through them!
My Temptation is book 1 in the Kingston Lane series, which is a series of interconnected standalones. We follow Juliet and Henley, after an incredible night together Henley ghosts her. Years later Juliet buys her dream home, but her neighbour has a very familiar face, and we then follow their journey from there.
I really went through the emotions on this one, from belly laughing, to anger, to absolutely sobbing!
I cannot recommend T L Swan’s books highly enough, if you haven’t read them before then now is the time!

Entretenida historia pero dejó muchas cosas a las que no les dio continuidad.
Que relación tan más tóxica, Henley hacía con Juliet lo que quería una y otra vez, que se valore tantito, amiga date cuentaaaa… “Unable to choose between the sex that he needs and the love that he wants” Really??? Que estúpido viejo!!!
TL Swan debió haber hecho sufrir más a Henley hasta el punto que le rogara y se arrastrara por Juliet.

This was my first full audiobook and the narrators were honestly the best thing of this whole book. The plot had so much potential, but it fell short. The prologue was the only good thing between these main characters. It was hard to believe they were in love when all the did most of the book was have sex. The FMC last name was drinkwater and that is the stupidest last name ever. For a man to be in his thirties acting like this is obscene. Maybe if they were early 20's I could let it slide. Juliet was a doormat and Joel was right to tell her about why she loved Henley. There were too many characters for a book,
Umm ok, so I’m unsure how I feel about this book. I mean I like it, but also I was annoyed with the female character always lying. Ugh, why can’t people just be honest. The miscommunication was just dumb and childish. The trauma was well depicted and while the resolution was not well thought out or written, I get it. The spice was good and then it was dark and I was intrigued but it was too much sometimes (pun intended).
