This was fine but a few chapters hit a bit flat. As an aging woman myself, I hate the view that sex is only for her husband and that she has to keep him interested…very little mention of what HE is doing to attract HER! I also got tired of the humble brags  by the end.

In defense of this book, I know a lot of my reaction to it is the phase of life I'm in and my current personal struggles. It was meant to be empowering and it probably is, but I personally did not feel that way.

Slow start but ultimately an honest, refreshing, heartwarming and relatable memoir. As a woman in my 40’s, I am thankful for content like this and excited to keep enjoying life in the ways Brooke describes.
