Thank you, Ana for this book, otherwise I would’ve rated the first one at minus one out of five.
This book was the answer to all my prayers, yet not easier to read. One would think that considering what happened in the first book this second one would be just to makes things right, the path to redemption and that there would not be a third act break-up(if i understood this term correctly). Well, wrong.
The plot twist in these two books was the hardest to get through out of all plot twists written so far by Ana Huang. My heart was in my throat most of the time. But, the end made it all worth it.
Also, Blake’s character took a turn throughout the book I did not expect . Don’t let yourself get fooled by the golden boy exterior, his interior is much darker. But, truth be told, I didn’t really mind that. As Farrah said ”I think darkness is beautiful. And I fucking love sunsets.” Although, what I did mind was how he treated her, how he pushed her away instead of letting her in. I know that was the whole point of the plot, but I still didn’t like it, and Blake better spend the rest of his life treating Farrah like a princess and nothing less; to make up for all the heartache

This was kinda of dumb, no one was making sense, the conflict was flimsy AT BEST and therefore I will just stick to Ana Huang’s more recent works that I actually enjoy
