This book was definitely better than the first but compared to everything else I’ve read from Ana Huang, this just didn’t make it for me. I found myself at times growing tired of the FMC and kinda found her annoying. I learned this was an earlier series of her’s so I’m glad she’s enhanced her storytelling more. It’s decent but I wouldn’t say it was great
