This series is not my jam… I have never had a harder time trying to read Ana’s writing before. It is a little more Hallmark like and I’m more dark and twisty… but if you love lighthearted, romcom sweetness this is a series for you.

After a slow burn in the first book, I was eager to dive into ‘If the sun never sets’. This book delivers a nice blend of intense passion, gripping suspense, and a range of emotions of a second-chance. The emotional journey of Farrah and Blake is filled with tension, heartache, and ultimately, a very satisfying happy ending compared to the first book. Ana Huang's writing is engaging, addictive, and emotionally resonant, making it impossible to put the book down. I'm still irked by Blake's actions in this book! Despite Farrah's forgiveness, I'm having a hard time letting go of my anger towards him. THAT PLOT TWIST!!! I think I was in denial at first, so when I were hit with it I was more relieved than in shock. Still, it didn't make the reveal any less mind blowing... now time to have my emotions played with in book 3.

Blake is a walking red flag and he doesn't deserve her but since I'm not taking this seriously I think it was cute. I enjoyed reading this more than book one, I wish the conflict was done differently but it was still fun to read

This book was good, but Blake was super frustrating! I just wanted to smack some sense into him haha but a good story and lovely ending, looking forward to the next one!

very lackluster and weak part 2 to their love story.
- the whole dilemma as to why they broke up felt so weak, badly elaborated(or built up) in this book
- although i understood how it weighed heavy on blake's conscious and heart, it still wasn't strong enough to make this dilemma that big or significant to their story
- especially the whole 3rd chance was just ridiculous, not enough pining or begging for me at all
- i loved farrah's character, but her love for blake felt more like lust (in this book)because his actual character just continued to falter throughout the progression of the story, whereas i understood why blake was still in love with her (but clearly not enough, hence all his dumb actions)
- i think it should have stopped at the second chance, there was no reason for a 3rd chance, definitely shouldve built wayyyyy more on him winning her back the first time around.
- i only claim their time in shanghai and part of when they first met in NYC(like purely the beginning), the rest is just a disservice to their relationship and to farrah
- tbh in this second book their connection felt more physical and lust than actual love
- although i LOVED sammys and olivias build up in this book, hehe i hope that one is good, i am so curious as to why they broke up
