Beautifully written and would recommend to the romance readers! I think compared to the Twisted series though, it falls short. I personally love the Twisted Series by Ana Huang a lot more than this one. With that said though, it doesn’t cut down on how this was beautifully written. I felt the emotions of the FMC and the MMC just continued to make me mad. I don’t know how much more the FMC could be open and pulling to make the relationship work but the MMC just kept pushing away. Then to be mad that the FMC tried to move on… come on man!!! Just let the FMC live her life dude. Stop throwing hurdles in it!

I should also add that as the reader, we all can see his feelings towards the FMC but the MMC just strangely doesn’t want to acknowledge them. No… that’s not right. He wants to and pushes for the relationship but almost sounds like he enjoys a good self sabotage moment. Why my good sir? Why? Especially after the FMC had put up so many walls that she wasn’t willing to cross because in her opinion, she didn’t want to get hurt again. To which, that seems to be the MO for the MMC.

Good book! Great read. It will not stick with me like most books and I am still team Twisted series but Ana Huang!
