Overall, this novel was better than If Love #1, but still felt like it was missing something

Read in 2022 - Omg, this was the culmination of the epic love story of Farrah and Blake. I was not expecting to have to wait so long for the right time for both of them. And even them, there were more twists that I didn't expect at all. Boy they went through so much to be together, but I loved to see how they grow into two different people, but their feelings grew even stronger. I loved this series so much and can't wait to see the other characters development. Totally recommend it, if it written by Ana, I'm reading it. She is just that amazing!

Well, damn. If I thought book one was angsty, it was nothing compared to the angst in book two and ngl, by the end I was a little over the back-and-forth and it wasn't even a question of will-they, won't-they but more when will they get their act together? That's not to say that I didn't enjoy this though because I really did! I mean, I finished the duet in less than a day so...

I like this book a tad bit better than the first. The story kept me intrigued. I liked that everything was not too “easy”. That the reconciliation was not too quick and easy. I like how it shows how life can get complicated and self doubt can make is self sabotage.

It was quite predictable. Nothing profound one again. But still an enjoyable book.

Farrah is weak. Blake is toxic, and not in a book-boyfriend-we-love-him-anyways type of way. How many times are you gunna break someone’s heart and then go begging back? Also, screw Farrah’s mom for advising her to keep going back to him. Smh.

I’m enjoying this series. The love stories the author is telling are honest and real to me. I enjoy a good flowery romance but I also love the relatable honest love story here. It’s raw and open with some heartbreak sprinkled in. I’m looking forward to the next story for sure!
