While reading I didn't enjoy it. But after I finished I think it's and ok book. Very boring and way too long.

great expectations was a roller coaster ride of emotions and i loved *almost* every moment of it. i particularly enjoyed how realistic pop’s character was. he isn’t perfect and makes a lot of mistakes through his life, which made him both lovable and relatable, but sometimes i wanted to shout at him through the pages to not destroy his life more and more lol. dickens has such a way with words, and there were parts of the book where i was tearing up. i didn’t expect there to be so many twists and turns either, and only really saw one of them coming. overall impressed. this was my first dickens and won’t be my last.
