As much as I love the guy's point if view (so much better than the girl's!) this book seemed to drag a little. It might be because I had just read all the other books from the series but this book seemed a little redundant. I think it would have worked better if we had gotten dual point of view from the beginning.

Oh my gosh, this was wonderful!! A sexy, funny yet deeply emotional read. Intelligent banter - fantastic writing and just what I love - a character driven story with enough depth for each of the characters to fully understand their motivations. I cried at some points and hooted out loud at others. And so love the male POV - some authors don't do that well but this was spot on. Absolutely love Matt fucking Connover and Mac - one of the most delightful heroines I've read. Not many heroines can own their sexuality like Mac does without coming off as slutty but the author did such a phenomenal job at creating the character that is Mac that makes you love Mac even more. The backdrop of the law and the intricacies of what happens in a law firm were nicely done. The complexity of each character - even Marissa made this a 5 star read. And the sexy times.. okay I think my Kindle shorted out at one point when Mac suggested "let try 69...." This was my first by this author but funnily enough I've bought all of her books but for some reason, they fell to the bottom of my tbr. So now I am having a Sawyer Bennett read-a-thon!!
