I was so excited to find out we were getting to revisit Noah and Caro, because I absolutely loved their first book, Right Through Me! They are on their honeymoon in Italy and all Noah wants to do is enjoy his new bride. But with Caro's unique gifts, and her passion for art, she can't pass up the chance to visit a rare art exhibit. Super soldier, Noah, can't shut off his training either. He is always on high alert against anyone from the Obsidian Group finding them. When Noah and Caro unknowingly stumble into something just as dangerous as Obsidian, it takes all Noah's training and Caro's vision, to keep them alive. This quick installment to the Obsidian Files series is fast paced, thrilling, and very hot & sexy. I loved this amazing continuation to Noah and Caro's story!
Noah Gallagher and Caro Bishop are on their honeymoon in Rome. Cara hears of a showing of the newly found Cross of Orazio and desperately wants to attend. Reluctantly, Noah sets a plan in motion so that they can be present at the opening, but he warns Caro that they must not be photographed or recognized. Noah's physical enhancements make him a continuing target of the Obsidian Group. As the time of the event approaches, Noah becomes more and more anxious, believing that something is going to happen at the showing.
This story is much too short. The events surrounding the unveiling of the Cross are not described in enough depth so that the reader can really understand what is going on, and the motives of the characters are unclear. This had the potential to be a very good story, but written as a novella, it is just too short.
