What a stunning end to this brilliant trilogy.
 Claire North once again breaths originality into the myth. Her ending doesn't feel contrived, it feels like it could have happened, and it allows her to stay true to the characters she has written.

These are probably my favourite iterations of these characters! Penelope - intelligent, resourceful and forced to hide it all, the sisterhood of women she has built around her. North even does the impossible and makes me sympathise with Athena! 

The writing in these books is vivid, almost lyrical. It hums with love, sorrow, rage, triumph. In some places it feels more like poetry than prose.

Honestly I can't praise this book, this trilogy, highly enough. If you're at all into Greek myths or mythology retellings this trilogy should be at the top of your list.
