I do not get the hype around this book. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because it made me actually want to know the ending, but even that was disappointing. I guess I went in with a different expectation.

i personally didn't feel like this character was very representative of youth, and i didn't agree nor feel like i learnt anything from an environment that i can't recognise anything for myself.
not for me.

This book was such a bad reading to me, it was all repetitive and honestly boring. I didn’t think a lot of the things happening were necessary for the story to go on…I usually never hate on books but couldn’t stand the way it was constructed, to me it was messy + I felt like it was kinda unrealistic…
However, maybe his relationship with his sister was the one thing I liked, I wouldn’t recommend the book tho…
