It was four stars until the epilogue. Don't get it. What was that about. Weird.

Not sure how I feel about the ending, but this was immensely readable and left me thinking about things a little differently - which is always an achievement in a book. I found it a little overdone in some places (eg. Gen's proficiency with languages) but on the whole charming and thrilling.

Mesmerizing! This book is for those who can still see beauty in everything, in the most unlikely circumstances. It sings about love, friendship, and music. Another story that will remain deep in my heart.

Who knew an entire story could be told in one house during a hostage situation. It took about 100 pages for me to get into it / figure out what the heck was going on. But once I did... loved it. The characters are wonderful and how they communicate is even better. It almost reminds me of spending an amazing weekend at a music festival surrounded by friends.
