Alrighty kids, this one is right up there with straight whiskey; You'll like it when you're older and a little more fucked in the head.

I mean it when I say that these were some of the best, funniest, most subversive sex scenes I have ever had the grace of reading. I genuinely liked the autistic rep in this book, sure it shows the less glamourous side, but it also shows that it doesn't matter and that she deserves love too.

AND VASILY OML My prince! My baby verse top. And the way he like actually cares for her? OML my heart can't take it. I can't tell if this is the best one in the series thus far since I love all of them so very much but this book and Naomi will have a special place in my heart forever.

Also, this book is sexier than the other two and portrays a lot more of bdsm culture, and the bad sides of it.

Remember your aftercare! Xo.

I really enjoyed this. I loved Naomi's inappropriate comments and how real her issues seemed. Vasily complemented her perfectly! Fast paced with lots of action. I read this in one day.

I read this one as a stand-alone and immediately understood what was going on. Vasily is a hitman for the Russian mafia and has a chance to become their leader if he finds a painting by the famous Carravagio. So he "enlists" the help of Naomi, a super-intelligent hacker that can hack and find anything on the web and is also autistic. I did like the author's representation of it and how it was depicted with Naomi. Vasily understood her and together with their different "quirks" made it happen. I was not expecting some of the scenes, and if you are a little sensitive, do check the trigger warnings. These were unexpected and didn't leave me felling fuzzy at all.

Vasily has Naomi (Daniel's sister) with him in the aftermath of book #2 "Last Breath".  He's trying to take over the Bratva  and she's hacking and moving money.  In disguise they have to infiltrate clubs and travel to find a stolen painting to bring back to the bratva.  Complications arise as Naomi is either autistic or has Aspergers.  She calls herself an "aspie" and the instances were written well.  Vasily and she mesh as neither of them like to be touched and their relationship and quirks complement each other and grow.  From assassins trying to kill them, Naomi's endless facts about everything,  and Vasily's cold abused heart thawing.

This book is STILL $9.99. WTF? I'm sorry Berkley but that is a fuck crazy price for an ebook. Get a freaking grip! So irritated that I have to quit a series that I really enjoy because as much as I like it, I'm not paying $10 for a book that Berkley can essentially pull from my "ownership" with no warning.

I gave this a rating of four stars simply because I LOOOVE Vasily. I have such a book crush on him it's insane. With that being said this was probably my least favorite out of the series simply because of Naomi..I know she was written to be the way she is, but I couldn't see past it, and while at times it was like they BOTH had a disability I couldn't help but think every time that they had sex that someone was getting taken advantage of.
My brain couldn't get past the whole Aspergers women falls for head of Bratava. The story didn't click for me like Daniels and Nick's did. Not to say that I wouldn't recommend this book to others,it just wasn't for me.

*4.5* I have enjoyed each book in this series incrementally more than the last, but I don't know if the next book can top this one. I loved these characters!
She is the witch and I am her wolf, her Volk.
The communication between these two was so refreshing to read. One physically abused as a child, the other on the spectrum, but they find a perfect harmony when they are together.
“This is Naomi Hays. She is my queen, She will rule at my side. She is the brains to my brawn."
I almost fell off the treadmill with laughter a few times listening to this audiobook. Excellent narration! The bland, painfully honest voice of Naomi by Kasha Kensington and the smooth and richly accented voice of Vasily by Iggy Toma, were so well done. Naomi's blunt conversations around sex were quite shocking and refreshing at the same time.
“Of course. I don’t need sex, exactly. But I'd like for you to put your mouth between my legs. And I’d like to feel your penis inside me. I think that would feel good based on prior empirical evidence."
Excellent overall story and audiobook!
