The main characters are unlikable, the smutty stuff is problematic (consent issues). I enjoyed the last fourth of the book when a non mafia problem appears and is resolved.

honestly, i was so annoyed since the first 2% of the book itself. the fmc was just asking for the hate of me and the mmc, like dude. you had no reason whatsoever to enter a party uninvited, mind you, its your rival family's hosted party, steal a possibly very important family heirloom and set a part of their mansion on fire (even if it was on accident). i thought she would be a bad bitch, but she turned out to be a donkey. i didnt read enough to get to the guy's issues, but i did find something sickly annoying in the writing style. the author kept capitalizing the cuss words and adding an exclamation at the end, (for eg. FUCK!, IDIOT!) out of nowhere.

safe to say, i didnt finish it and dont plan on it in the near future as well.

4.5⭐️. I honestly really enjoyed this book truthfully anything mafia. I enjoyed the dynamic however and the family rivalry as well and seeing Callum and Aida hating each other to noticing small things about one another calling things “ours” when they weren’t even at a understanding yet was lovely. The illustrations are amazing as well.
