Was it perfect? No. Am I having the best time and also crying and kicking my feet? Absolutely.

I was really wondering if I had falsely remembered enjoying this series from the first time I read them after the first book which was good but not amazing. However, this book was so fun. Kate and Anthony are just lovable protagonists.

This book features the enemies to lovers trope though that is a little too strong a word for the way they acted. I enjoyed that both characters in this book just liked each other and recognized and enjoyed each others quirks very quickly.

Anthony’s oddness and weird obsession with his own death makes him an intriguing character.

my god... so so bad. I did not like that. I too came from bridgerton season 2, but was not prepared for this. I do love the attempt of sucking out the bee venom though, my 1 star was solely for that

Se me ha hecho un poco largo, pero me gusta que haya profundizado más en los temas personales de los personajes que la serie y eso me haya ayudado a entenderlos.

How K+A end up together really threw me considering how the tv show differs (hint: a lot????) but I really was so grateful he wasn’t betrothed to her sister at all in the book (like I get it for the show drama bc the book situation is far more supportive but anticlimactic in a way) and how he really fell for Kate even though he absolutely did NOT want to- but that man knew he would need a wife and he did care for her regardless of his “lack of love” for her. 4.5 stars! (Goodreads plz give me a half star, I beg)
