This book was for my book club’s theme in which we read “ a book we’d be embarrassed to be caught reading in public.” And though I would only read this type of book in the privacy of my own home I was pleasantly suprised. Loved the WNC representation and the sisters relationship. A little bit upset at the nc state erasure but alas. This felt like watching a Netflix romcom which is another guilty pleasure.

Not my favorite Emily Henry book. I don’t think it lived up to the hype BUT I do think I might appreciate it more as a physical book over audio bc there is so much banter

A romcom you can’t help but adore. Excellent writing that makes you laugh and fall for every character

This was… just ok. Beach read will still stands as my favorite emily henry book. im so glad she stayed in the city even though it was set up to seem like she’d move to the small town.
