What a charming read!

This was a pleasant surprise - I’ve watched the Judy Garland movie many times and this book was nothing like it… not surprising considering how many fantastical creatures were in it - along with a considerable amount of decapitation!

If you want to pleasantly pass a couple of hours with some classic literature, then I’d recommend this!

I have always loved the Wizard of Oz movie and thought I would try and read the book. It is super cute and I liked it a lot. Dorothy is just such an unflappable little girl. Wonderful. There was an illustration in the book that kind of creeped me out. It was of the Scarecrow watching over Dorothy as she and Toto slept. Actually, I think most of the Scarecrow illustrations were a little creepy.
