I was thoroughly bored and was told it doesn't get much more interesting. Maybe romance is not for me

I think this is the fastest I’ve ever read a Brontë book. I was immediately swept up, and  couldn’t put it down. I had no preconceptions about this book, and I'm really glad that I went in with little to no knowledge. The characters are everything, each so flawed and imperfect that is makes for a compelling story where no one is without blame. And though in the book, they may have seemed abnormal, I only found such characteristics made them more human.

I also enjoyed the narration from a third party character, as it skews the story to make the reader wonder how much is truly unbiased, and how much of the story are we missing. There is so much more I want to say, but I'll just end it with this last bit... Do not read this book if you are looking for romance. I would not categorize it as a love story, but perhaps it could be a story about love. There is so much more to the way our characters act, and the 'whys' behind said actions. I found it to be a passionate story, reflecting on human nature, that doesn't shy away from the dark.
