I really wanted to like this book!
It was so repetitive and preachy and didn't have the same soul im used to from ya. It's all technically very good, and it's lovely to see out non binary ppl in publishing, but it felt way too my child i

Overall I would give this book 4.5 ⭐️. The book reads like a pretty good fan fiction, rather predictable at times and the characters (apart from Ben) could have been definitely more developed. Yet, this was an overall wholesome read that made me happy while reading it.

Oh, how my heart absolutely sings for this gorgeous, stunning novel.
What started as a heart breaking rejection for Ben coming out as non-binary to their parents, the uncertainty of where to go, (especially whilst still under education) and more conflictions of self-worth after the unexpected reaction, turned into a heart-warming finding of self, rekindling of sibling relationships and building of found family.
This was so moving, humourous, relatable and overall just stunning. I had the best time listening to this beautiful story and fell head over heels for Ben and their character growth. They showed so much vulnerability but what I loved the most was that it was on their terms. It was such a beautiful display of strength, consent and understanding oneself.
Nathan was so golden retriever coded and his aura colour being yellow made so much sense. I absolutely adored the friendship and development of this into a gentle, charming and encouraging romance. Nathan was filled was so much understanding and care from the get go and I loved to see that. Ben and Nathan brought out the best qualities in each other and the side characters also helped to stir the story along fabulously.
Everything about this was adorable, but tough conversations were handled so realistically and authentically. The way I felt about I Wish You All The Best was similar to how I felt about One Last Stop. I felt like I was about to cry by the end and very nearly did.
