Dumb af fmc. Says one thing, doesn’t follow through. Complete doormat. Calls her rape an accident and tries to be friends again with rapist…who then blackmails her. Like, she’s just dumb.

Rough one, for most of the book I wasn't a fan of the FMC. She was a complete pushover and not very street smart. How many times can someone screw you over before you start seeing what's really going on? But I realized that this is more about the super complicated relationship between her and the MMC. If you don't need your bullied women to be secretly strong or bad arses, this is a great story! Big cliffy, like I need a drink after that ending lol.

Heroine is too pathetic to even be half decent friend.
Rosaline rationale: Im going to allow my friend to crush on/spend time with a man that date-raped me because he said he’d tell her if I didn’t allow him to rape me again.
While I get that victims can be closeted about their trauma, our FMC was clearly more upset that it wasn’t Fox than that it happened at all. So her allowing her friend to be put in such a vulnerable position by not telling her Ian drugged her is unforgivable.
Also her “defiance” against the bullies extended only to whining.

Story is interesting and it was hard to put down. However, too much actual bullying for me. Blackmail about an sa, almost force her to give a bj. I almost dnf at 30%.
