There is lots of foreshadowing but then a big plot twist.

This felt really slow in the start but once it hit over halfway it started picking up the pace. It felt kind of predictable but i liked the ending. go millieeee

The writing at times seemed kind of juvenile, especially in the first half of the book with Millie. But I guess that could be attributed to Millie being kind of juvenile because of her previous situation. The twists were obvious, but still so satisfying.

I finished this book in two sittings. A really quick "who done it" style book. The writing is captivating and Freida McFadden always has the best twists and turns and unexpected things that just make sense.

I would also love to live in the Winchester house, just not on the third floor πŸ‘€

Millie is a freaking G

This book reminded me a lot of β€œThe Wife Between Us,” where narrative shifts keep readers questioning the ultimate end game until the very last word.
