It was fine. Really wasn’t a fan of the writing but gotta admit it was a quick page turner. I feel like the author was very obviously inspired by Gone Girl but… it’s not done nearly as well.

The writing was okay, but the trauma porn... This was so unethical and wrong. Highly disturbing.
In terms of plot: if you've read 'Girl on the train' and/or 'Last Mrs Parrish' you've read this one. The wrap up of the story also felt... too smooth. Nope nope nope.

This was okay and entertaining. I found the trope of the mysterious criminal a little overdone and I didn’t appreciate the focus on weight gain or loss as a character flaw.
