This is without a doubt one of the top 3 books I’ve ever read. Possibly number 1. I can’t wait to start the next one!

The book became wayyy too dark and creepy. The torture and gaslighting was too much for me

Overhyped. I had high expectations giving the reviews and high rating but this book wasn’t that good.
The characters are flat and don’t change throughout the whole story. The main plot twist is obvious from the very beginning but happens only in the second half of the book so it’s boring to read the first half which is also repetitive.
Overall it was quick and twisty read but not as good as everyone here says. The twists are entertaining but not mind-blowing and you can guess them pretty much every time. But I enjoyed the ending, interesting how it will progress in the series.

Good read, page turner, but predictable.

The first half was rough. I almost quit reading, I disliked Millie so much, especially with her sensationalizing of mental illness and her fatphobia. I was hoping the twists would have redeeming value. And they did.

This was a propulsive read. Definitely a page turner. I never did fall in love with the characters, but by the end, they were almost believable and the book was fine.
