I picked this up after seeing it all over TikTok, but honestly... I don’t get the hype. It was a quick, easy read, but it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. Maybe I went in with too high hopes, but it just didn’t wow me. Not sure if I will continue with the series or not...
3.5 / 5
Couldn't put this one down.
The writing is pretty simple, and there isn't a lot of "meat" outside of twists of this gaslight extravaganza.
But overall, an enjoyable ride.

Overall a cheesy plot, with shallow characters I’m not sure why it’s top of the bestsellers. This is no literary masterpiece; it's more akin to teen fiction. I’m not inclined to read any of the sequels.
An amazing book with some many twists and turns I got whiplash! The best thriller I’ve ever read!
not very good… tried to read outside of my comfort zone but um. i prefer my comfort zone actually. i wasn’t very surprised by the ending
