Really disappointed. The premise was so promising and endorsed by the Hello Sunshine bookclub...but it fell so short. The beginning was engaging but it soon turned dull.

It was a fun, quick, beach read! It was easy to get through because it moved quickly but there wasn’t a ton of depth to it… and some of the unrealistic situations and interactions made you want to roll your eyes. I’m not mad I read it, but I don’t think I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know.

Blah. Felt like it had potential but ended up with a MC who was entirely dependent on everyone around her. There wasn’t much exciting grifting, mostly just running away. Overall, it didn’t keep my attention and I was bored.
