She knows if she does that she will be caught and go to jail. It’s a good ride if you are willing to suspend reality.

This book took me forever to slog through. It was just way to unbelievable (and unbearable) that a grifter/con from birth would ack the way Lucky did, so incredibly naive. It just didn’t work for me.

This was a fun, quick read. I found myself rooting for Lucky from the beginning. All the cards were stacked against her from birth, and I was rooting for her redemption. I guessed one of the twists pretty early on, but I don’t think it was meant to be super suspenseful anyway. Overall it was a great read! I felt like I was watching an action movie and it kept me hooked until the end!
this book is so comforting and fast paced, although Lucky is not a great person she is impossible not to like and root for. i really enjoyed this whole book and would definitely highly recommend!
