I've seen everyone on bookstagram rave about the so-called morally greys, but it was never a trope I much cared for. That was until I read Lucky.
Lucky was wrong. Every step she took was a big mistake. Yet, as a reader, I rooted for her. I wanted her to find redemption. I wanted her to find her mother. Lucky was a con artist, with a heart of gold and I couldn't help but fall in love with her. (She reminded me so much of Matt Bomer's character in White Collar.)
Needless to say, I loved the book. It was different, fast-paced, and gives full-on Bonnie and Clyde vibes. If that's your thing, go for this one!
