I found the characters very underdeveloped, with new characters being added right to the very last 10 pages. The setting changed so frequently that I’d be confused each time I picked up the book - I often found myself frustrated that these things weren’t described in more detail to paint more of a picture. it was very ‘tell-not-show’. Perhaps I would have loved it at 13 years old? So maybe it should be catered towards a younger audience. Also, there were lots of Americanisms that I didn’t understand(🤣).

Wasnt a fan of the ending, but loved the main character. Really good book.
