It started off pretty good but it disintegrated into implausible feel-goodery half way through and became a chore to finish

Lucky Armstrong and her boyfriend are about to pull off a million dollar heist when her boyfriend goes missing. This is the first time Lucky had been alone and she must figure out what to do with what she has, which is con-artist skills learned from her father who is in jail and the winning lottery ticket. She can't cash it without turning herself in and she doesn't trust anyone.

The premise of this story is interesting and there were a lot of twists and turns along the way. Overall, a somewhat underwhelming story but if you're looking for a con artist story, this one's alright.

I read another book with a somewhat similar vibe and i liked it a lot better so if you’re looking for something like this but better check out The People We Keep

A really intriguing, quick read. It kept me interested to the point I didn’t want to put it down. Very detailed and descriptive without too much fluff. I really enjoyed it!
