Really great story, but I felt like a lot of what happened was skimmed through. It was a very short book and I think that it could have gone into a lot more detail and I would have preferred a more complete ending.

This was such a good listen! Con artists and grifters are not anything new in books, but the author built this story from the ground up and did this girl justice. If you like mystery in your audiobooks, the peeling back of Lucky’s story is going to make you jubilant. I did not want this book to end, I would have liked to have seen a little more into her life and the changes that were due for her at the end. I loved the twist and turns the story took, and I was constantly cheering Lucky along. Loved the ending of this story, I hope they make it into a movie, and I am going to put this on my favorites shelf because I can see myself coming back to listen again.

What would you do if you won the lottery? Pay off your debts, buy a couple of cars and houses, maybe give some money to family and go on a nice holiday? Lucky is faced with a difficult decision to make since claiming her winnings would lead to jail time. Not a very likeable character but this quick paced mystery is a great beach read.
