This was kind of a flop for me. I’m a fan of the Morbid podcast and I thought I’d like getting first hand perspective from the medical examiner herself but it was almost too clinical. The writing style was weird and clunky and just felt off.
This book was broken into two parts and while I really appreciate the twist, the second half felt like an entirely new person had written it. The first half was boring and tedious and the second had too much going on.
Maybe it was just me and maybe I’d like the rest of the series if she continues with it but I’m not sure there was anything I liked enough about this one to read the next.

I was going to give this book 4 stars but the ending ruined it for me. The story just ended without any solution??? It’s like the book’s missing some pages

Finished in 6 hours! This book kept me reading. I couldn’t believe the twist in it and that ending! Starting the second book tomorrow.
