This definitely wasn't as good as it had been hyped up to be. A lot of the chapters focused far too heavily on the "conflict" between W&C and H&M and became more about that, than Catherine herself. Leaving me at times to wonder whose 'side' the author was on as comments made in the book came across very negatively towards Catherine. Overall, it was okay but not a particularly excellent read. If you can find a free copy through your local library I would highly recommend that rather than spending money on it from a book shop.

Very interesting book, but I only read parts that were interesting to me.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book about Catherine, Princess of Wales. The author does a good job of exploring Catherine’s background and her meeting with William and well as their courtship, marriage, and children. He also focuses on the charities that Kate supports and cares about, from those relating to child development to others concerned with mental health. Kate’s kind, humble, smart, caring, thoughtful  character shines through, as does her special relationship with the King and her role as a bridge builder among royals. Her fight against cancer and some of the ugly statements that were made about her also are covered. I love my royal family books

This is a giant fluff piece, and I felt like I didn’t learn anything about the Princess of Wales at all. Some chapters seemed to be more about William. I’m bummed and will try to find a different bio of her.
