I am so confused about my feeling on this book, It took me 2 days to finally feel like I could write an honest review. I think it's one I just have a love/hate relationship with. In the beginning I was getting extremely annoyed because if this couple had just talked to each other then there wouldn't have been so much drama. But then again the more I got to know each character the more I understood their actions. I ended up loving them all and not wanting anyone to get hurt. I think Sadie and Nathan spent too much time thinking their marriage had to be perfect that they let that come between them. Saying this book has cheating isn't really giving a spoiler since it's in the synopsis but for the first time ever, this author made an affair make sense to me. Not that I agree with it but I can understand how it happened. I was a little disappointed that someone had to get hurt in the end, I would have loved for that person's future & happiness be in the epilogue (wishful thinking). All in all this book hit all of my emotions - anger, annoyance, sadness, lust, love and happiness. And I need to say that this book has a sex scene in a movie theater that was BEYOND HOT!!!!
The narration was amazing, which come on...It's Andi Arndt of course it was amazing!

This book was difficult for me to read. I had to continuously take breaks while I was reading it because not only was the relationship between Sadie and her husband painful to read but also the relationship between Sadie and Finn seemed inappropriate and wrong to me. However, I found myself sympathizing with Sadie and wanting her to be happy with her life. It seemed like Finn made her happy which made me feel conflicted as I read it. I had already read another book that of the author's that has ties to this one so I already guessed how this book would end. I was still able to enjoy it though.
I didn't fall in love with any of the characters like I would with other books but I think that made me appreciate it more. All of the characters in this book were flawed in such a way that I wasn't really sure that I was rooting for anyone. I wanted the conflicts to be resolved so that different characters could have closure. I thought that Nathan's actions were suspicious during the majority of the book so I wasn't able to call him innocent in everything that happened over the course of the book or root for him either.
It was an interesting book and very different from other things that I have read. I feel that I was able to understand why the characters made the choices that they did even if I felt that they made poor ones. I have read other books that involve cheating and this was not the case. In those books, it seemed as if the characters had an extreme case of lust and "can't keep it in their pants syndrome".
This book is a lot to take in and it makes you think about the topic of marriage and the things that might need to be worked on in your own relationship. To be honest, I'm still digesting it.

It was hard to rate this book.
The story is not about things I usually enjoy and deals with stuff I always avoid:
Infidelity in marriage and abortion.
I just cant help it, I skipped those parts. But I know for some readers, this story might be brilliant, eye-opening even. It's just not for me. That being said, I'll still read other books from this author.

This book was EVERYTHING!!!!
It has consumed me from start to finish!!!
I lost sleep last night because I couldn't put it down. I even snuck a few minutes of reading during work today when I wasn't supposed to. I've been thinking about it nonstop!!! This is the first book I've read that deals with cheating that has affected me like this since Mia Asher's Arsen.
I could barely put it down because I HAD to have answers!!! Like what the hell is going on with her husband?!?! Who will she choose!?!?
While reading it I was a major fan of the new neighbor who tempts her. He was sexy and romantic artist. Then next thing I knew I started falling in love with her husband. I had no clue who I wanted her to pick. I could understand everyone's side of things. No one was in the right or wrong. I did like and agree with the ending, but I was there was an epilogue. I would've liked to have seen more into their future. This book was a standalone, but I would LOVE for the heroine's brother, who's a single father, to have his own book.
This was my first book by this author that I've read and she did not disappoint! I can't wait to read her previous and future books!
This book was told in first person through the heroine's POV.
I don't even know how to begin this review, because I have so many thoughts.
This was SO good.
Sadie has the perfect life on paper. Great husband. Great job. Great friends. When her husband begins to pull away, Sadie's world is turned on it's side. Sadie finds a bond with Finn, her new neighbor. Only Finn has his secrets, just as Sadie has hers.
I loved this book so much. At times, I really didn't know what was going to happen. I laughed, I cried, I swooned.

This is the first book I had read by this author and it has topics that any married couple can relate to during some time in their relationship. It entailed subject matters where any person who has doubts and questions about their other half can lead to twisted perceptions and assumptions. But when that one person comes along who takes an interest in you, your mind tends to wonder more and the “what ifs” thoughts becomes forefront into your reality.
We have married couple Nathan and Sadie Hunt who everyone who knows and seen them together as having the perfect marriage. Nathan is a hopeless romantic and has always put his wife on a pedestal. Does everything for her and because of her. Being together and experiencing things for so long they know everything about one other or do they? Then out of the blue the actions of Nathan changes to a standoffish and darker side of him that has Sadie examining their relationship deeper and where the feelings of loneliness come into play.
“For us, romance is these stolen moments to ourselves. It’s taking you in a theater full of people because we can’t survive another second without it.”
Cue in the neighbor across the hall with the green eyes, Finn Cohen who has her starting to feel something again. Sparks that Sadie is missing from her husband is coming from a person she least expected. As days, weeks, and even months passes by the connection between the two of them begin to grow more and into territory that they begin to explore.
“I will love you the same in the dark as I do in the light.”
This was a hard, frustrating, and a nervous read but yet justifiable. The book addresses situations that couples face with, communication being the most important in any type of relationship. If one does not talk or one avoids the bigger problem it can leads to something worse. The author opens the reader’s eyes to the issues and will have you looking at your own marriage. Although the author wrote the overall meaning behind the story well, the end was slightly rush and just ok but for some reason it fitted all of the characters completely. I do not want to disclose any spoilers on what will happen but rather that you keep an open mind when it comes to their story.
