Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely SPED through this! Something about books based on reality shows almost makes you feel like you're watching one. And the best part is that you don't have to wait for the next week's episode - you can binge the whole book in one or two days.

I enjoyed the idea of the revenge plot. The female relationships (both good and bad) were a lot of fun and the author did a great job of building rage upon rage against Jordy, who was the absolute worst. I liked Maya and Skye's characters, but felt we could have got to know them each on a deeper level. One thing I didn't realize before reading was how young they were. For some reason, I expected them to be closer to my age, not just going off to college. I think I would have liked it more if they were in their mid to late twenties, but I also appreciate a good YA novel every now and then!

Based on how much I enjoyed the reading experience and how quickly I devoured it, I rate this book 4/5. I'd recommend it to fans of One to Watch by Kate Stayman-London, as well as Dead Famous by Ben Elton, though that one is quite different!

I couldn’t put this book down! It was such a fun read. I was picturing The Bachelor in my head the entire time, which I guess is the point haha!
Skye and Maya can be very annoying at times. Skye’s trust issues and lack of communication is horrible. She wanted casual then almost straight away changed her mind but didn’t say anything to Maya.

I wish we got Skye’s POV on the first night in the mansion. I was confused when Skye was wondering why she can’t lie about the day she met Jordy but is happy to tell the world about his problematic Halloween costume??? Lol.

Jordy is obviously a wanker and I’m glad all of his nasty behaviour got exposed. I loved when the girls eventually came to their own opinions on Jordy. Kim was such a pick me before she came to her senses.

I did really like this book but I found there was a few small plot holes I couldn’t get past to give it 5 stars. The main issue was the fact that someone adjacent to The Royals was cleared to go on a dating show? There’s no way any royal family would allow that tbh.

It was a fun read and I really enjoyed it. The drama was so much fun and I loved the bisexual main characters too.

"I suppose when you trust someone not to hurt you, red flags look heart-shaped"

This book was absolutely fantastic, I loved the unique plot and found it fascinating just how real the reality show felt with the constant reshoots and editing! The enemies to friends to lovers was predictable but it was done so perfectly with a real slow burn romance with the required chemistry and banter! All the girls were absolutely lovely and well developed with their own personalities shining through. I really love how well they stuck together. The writing is brilliant, the book is fast paced and highly engrossing, and fantastically developed, I just felt so invested in the story and was really hoping Jordy was discovered to be the alphahole he came across as! So the epilogue was an absolute blessing!

Maya as a MC was just everything, she was sarcastic, independent, hilarious and just so likeable! I absolutely chortled at so many of her behaviours and comments, one that really tickled me "gag me with a wet rag" 😂

I just love Sophie Gonzales as an author, and have loved every single book so far, I cannot wait to read book five now!
