Very unrealistic but very entertaining! Definitely Ali Hazelwood’s best work yet, the writing was a glimpse of what goes on in her head and I loved it! What sets her apart from other authors is the amount of personal references in her books. They may only apply to niche audiences but I love them, it makes the main character much more down to earth. The smut was pretty good, about on-par with The Love Hypothesis. I loved the plot! Though a bit rushed at the end, I was on the edge of my seat! Of course we all knew who was behind Schmac, I loved how it was played out. The main characters were also even more likable, and I fell in love with the side characters, in TLH I disliked most of them. Overall, I loved seeing how Hazelwood’s writing has improved since her debut novel, and hope this gets as much publicity as the first!

I appreciate Ali Hazelwood's commitment to her brand because this is 100% Reylo fanfic again. Having said that, I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I found it a bit predictable (both generally as a plot and also as exactly what Ali Hazelwood always writes) and the ending conflict was completely out of left field but overall I thought it was sweet and hot and I'm always a big fan of a very simpy man (Levi).

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced review copy of this book.

4.5 stars! As a big fan of Marie Curie
and You've Got Mail
, I was in love with this title. The perfect amount of slow burn, emotion, and comedy. I do wish the next will have less of the misunderstanding trope, which felt too similar to her other works. And while I loved the character of Rocio, I do feel she was very immature, which seemed unrealistic to the plot (how did she not get fired????).

While I enjoyed this book, (#Rocio4eva) I think you can see the blue print of the Love Hypothesis in this work. There were plenty of moments where I laughed out loud & it was undeniably hot.
