I love pretty much everything Ali Hazelwood writes, and "Love on the Brain" did not disappoint! Levi and Bee were adorable together, and there's a side romance between two of the supporting characters that I also found so sweet. Although "Love, Theoretically" is still my FAVORITE Ali novel, this one is a close second for me. I need one of Ali's books to be adapted to a TV series or something, because I am dying to see these stories play out on screen!

MID. tell me why i enjoyed the side plot of bee starting the movement to abolish the GRE because of how it undermines grad school applications from FGLI applicants more than i did the main plot of romance between bee and levi. maybe it's just the stem major in me HAHA. but overall, it was pretty good. i just wish that ali hazelwood would make the stem parts of her novels more prominent instead of hiding it in the background D: i would maybe pause and think before recommending it to a friend though. ALSO, i know that it may seem like it took me almost three months to read the book, but i got sidetracked with college and was finally able to finish it once i went on break LOL.

I enjoyed reading this book. I did get tired of the miscommunication and the two main characters constantly being interrupted. It was very predictable (except for the very end, I did not see that coming). I can definitely see how this book resonates with some people, it just didn't quite resonate for me. I still enjoyed it though and binged the last 60%.

Ali Hazelwood always has a few cringey moments in there, but I did enjoy this book!!

I’ve come to realize that Ali Hazelwood is for sure my comfort author. Her books, even though I KNOW they’re bad accourding to some standards, just make me feel so… good, like I actually lose myself while reading, I love it. And I’m not sure they even count as “bad” because she clearly makes everything in the story revolve around the message she wants to send out, so she INTENTIONALLY makes it a whole joke (but when it’s serious, it’s serious). I don’t think that makes sense, but for me it does. I mean, she is absurde, and she knows it, but she does it on purpose. That’s her ultimate plot device, absurdity. And this woman has the most wholesome, stupidest and funniest humor ever, I won’t tolerate any other opinion on this.
