Otsuichi. Amazing. What a surreal read and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I really do love Japanese authors and this book makes it plain to see why. Edgy, surreal, freak show novels are amazing! READ THIS.
ประทับใจเรื่องแรก คือ 'ฤดูร้อน ดอกไม้ไฟ และร่างไร้วิญญาณของฉัน' แม้เนื้อเรื่องกับพล็อตดูเหมือนเล่าบรรยายไปเรื่อย ๆ แต่เรากลับปลื้มตรงที่ผู้เขียนสร้างบรรยากาศให้มันดูหม่น อึดอัด น่าหวาดระแวงและลุ้นไปกับตัวละครมากกว่าค่ะ ดึงคนอ่านให้จดจ่อและอ่านจบได้ในรวดเดียวเลย
Fast-paced horror thriller. Gripping and original. Decent read.
Okay, so this is one short story and two novelas in one book. The first novela, "Summer, Fireworks, and my Corpse" was pretty good. Little girl is killed by her friends and her corpse narrates their attempts at hiding the crime. Even a good twist. "Yuko" which is the short story was just kinda meh, but not bad. "Black Fairy Tale" the last novela, that was crazy. I mean really fucked up crazy. I am still kinda like, did I just read that? Have no effing clue how I feel about it, except my reaction is still "holy shit, I just read that?" But I think it was good. So now off to find more of this author's works. I saw that he had a book of short stories in English, so I'm pretty excited.

The thriller aspect didnt really make me have chills or anything like that :/
Some parts i didnt see coming, yes, but overall the plot was still kinda expected for me.
Enjoyable read, nevertheless.
