I really liked the characters in this story, but it did jump around a little too much. I felt like the last couple of chapters that I missed something in a previous chapter.

well.. that was a book, alright.
i was (2~ issues/chapters) in and i was so bored to tears. i hate-read the rest of it. i think 3x things happened that might actually affect things moving forward? disappointing read. seeing as how this is sort of a continuation of Event Leviathan, Checkmate was very much in line with the storytelling there, so i mean, i should've expected it... but i was wishing on a star that this chunk of the story would take some inspiration from the previous iteration of Checkmate. *sigh*
