now, omegaverse isn't usually my thing, but fucking hell this duet was absolutely everything!!

This entire story felt like a warm hug, like comfort and coziness, and it's just what my period-festered brain needed, because much like our Juno, I'm also currently feeling v nesty

speaking of Juno, I freaking adore her so much!!!
going through what she did and still being an absolute darling takes such an underrated amount of strength - I'm self aware enough to know for fact that at the highest point of dealing w my trauma, I was the worst person ever (mainly to myself) and yeah, being this proud of a fictional character is probably a little insane but who gaf fr? not me

and Juno's pack-family? yeah, I'm smitten asf, and I don't mean this lightly when I say that they're perfect for her in every single way
she did the heavy lifting in her healing, but those little gaps? yk the ones that no matter how much you try, it's so difficult to even attempt to heal? yeah, they fit themselves so seamlessly into those cracks and made it their home
they filled those cracks and gave her the extra strength to heal them

okay, and did I sob during most of it? hell yes, because my heart ached so good w their sweetness

Also happy to report that all of our main characters are highly flushed out individuals, which is uncommon, especially w 8 members.

Despite the lower rating between part 2 and part 1, I still enjoyed the ending of Juno's story. The big issue for me was the author's race to tie up all the plot points. The ending was resolved perfectly, which felt simultaneously satisfying and unrealistic. I also had that odd feeling where some characters that I absolutely LOVED in part 1 got sidelined by the new guys who were introduced in part 2. This may simply be due to the fact that there are just that many characters and we're dividing a lot of time between all of them.

I will admit I am newer to the reverse harem genre and my brain has some issues processing the fact that there are *so many guys.*

The really great thing about part 2 in particular is the increase in intensity the lovemaking scenes, particularly some near the end of the book. They're not just quickies, but long, blush-worthy intimate scenes that made me forget to breathe. :)
